The long month of March is finally yielding to Spring Break, the month of April, and hopefully warmer temperatures. If you’re staying home over break, you will get a taste of what’s to come when summer arrives in full force.
Long days. Active kids. A different kind of crazy.
Thankfully, West Michigan offers loads of things to do in the summertime with kids. One thing to consider is signing up for a summer day camp or two.
Some families use these camps as a fun alternative to childcare. Other families let their child hone an old skill or take the chance to try out something new.
Prices vary greatly from camp to camp. Some do offer scholarships, so check with the camp you’re interested in if cost is a concern.
The best advice I can give anyone considering a summer camp is to sign up soon. Some of the more popular camps will fill within minutes of opening.
For easy browsing, we’ve put together a Summer Camps Guide highlighting many greater Grand Rapids Summer Camps.
Take a look and let us know- where will your child go to camp?
Also, keep a look out for our Summer Fun Guide, set to publish in the next month or so.
