Saturday, December 14, 2019 - 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Come celebrate the holidays at the Institute! Give Santa and his reindeer a break and learn how sled dogs pull their weight all year-round (not just at Christmas time) from renowned sled dog owner and race competitor, Annie Hammond of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Learn how to beautifully decorate your gifts and tree with recycled or biodegradable materials. Make and take home unique holiday ornaments using natural materials. Create edible gifts for our animal friends to enjoy. Build (and eat) your own “gingerbread” houses.
