Guests of all ages are invited to a Family Day at GRAM in celebration of David Wiesner & The Art of Wordless Storytelling! Experience a day of immersive activities that bring the captivating children’s book illustrations to life.

Family Day Schedule

10 am: Museum opens and Family Day begins
10 am – 5 pm: Galleries are open to the public
10 am – 4 pm: Drop-in Storybook Crown making in the Lobby
10 am – 4 pm: Scavenger hunt and prizes
10 am – 12 pm: Community Art Project: Paint a Mural
10:30 am: Puppet Show by Kevin Kammeraad and Friends in the Auditorium
10:30 am – 3:30 pm: Family Drop-in and Sketching Tours
11 am – 3 pm: Story Time with Grand Rapids Public Library
11:15 am – 1 pm: Complimentary snacks for GRAM Members in the Auditorium
1 – 4 pm: Drop-in Studio: Wordless Storyboards in Crane Studio
1:30 pm: Puppet Show by Kevin Kammeraad and Friends in the Auditorium
5 pm: Museum closes

The Kent District Library Bookmobile will be outside near the Museum’s front entrance from 10 am – 4 pm. Visitors can check out books and sign up for a library card.
10 am: Museum opens and Family Day begins
