Hike Along a Lantern Lit Path
Come and celebrate a December WWC tradition!
As you meander through the forest on a candle-lit path, you’ll enjoy the serenity of the forest at night. At the cabin, enjoy a warm fire, and make your way to the wetland observation deck to view for the Geminid Meteor Shower. Back at the Center, warm up with some hot chocolate. It is an open time frame, come anytime between 5 and 9 pm.
Saturday is Family Night! At the cabin, string popcorn or make a pinecone birdfeeder ornament for our tree. Back at the Center, make a nature-inspired craft in the building. Friday is Date Night and open to all, but with no additional crafts in the building and at the cabin.
This event is free and open to the public; however, a donation of $2/person is suggested at the door and Hot Chocolate will be available for $1.00. Thank you!
Event T-shirts will be available for purchase. Proceeds from T-shirt sales will be used to support our educational programs.
