Stewardship Saturdays at Wittenbach/Wege Center
Join our Naturalists on Saturday mornings for a short hike and learn different land management techniques through stewardship. Participants should meet at the center shortly before 9:00 am.
Stewarship volunteers are needed throughout the fall. Volunteers are needed to help locate and cut invasive shrubs, gather native seeds, plant and label native seedlings, spread mulch and prepare the ground for prairie seeding next spring.
Participants should wear appropriate clothing for outdoor work, including long pants and sturdy shoes. Appropriate and fun for ALL ages! Tools and work gloves provided.
Please consider volunteering your time to help protect and improve the quality of this great community resource.
No registration needed, just come when you can!
Volunteer! Together we can accomplish great things!
