LIBRARIES FOR KIDS

Libraries are more than just books these days. (Though I wouldn’t complain if they were just books!) In an effort to get readers starting young, many libraries have children’s areas stocked with toys and bookish fun. You can also find popular story times at certain area branches in addition to fun kid-friendly activities throughout the year.

See a detailed list of library play areas here.

From Daniel Tiger to Pirates – 31 Things to do This January in Grand Rapids

Things to do in January 2019 With Kids

I’m having trouble wrapping my brain around the fact that we will soon be living in the year 2019 (it just seems so futuristic). While it’s fun to speculate about what’s to come in the near future, here’s one thing that is a solid bet: West Michigan fun is going strong.

Favorite characters like Daniel Tiger and Ms. Frizzle come to life, ice skating, snowshoeing, and sledding will keep you moving, and plenty of snuggly, hygge-worthy events that are more like “innings” than outings, will keep hearts bright this January.
