GRAND RAPIDS CHILDREN’S MUSEUM FIELD TRIP DETAILS
Discovery Field Trips at Grand Rapids Children’s Museum (GRCM) are the perfect way to complement your classroom lessons in a fun, hands-on environment. With two floors of perennial favorite and rotating exhibits, there is something for everyone!
Shop, bank and eat in Little GR. Create a giant bubble. Find the queen bee in the live honeybee hive. Seasonal exhibits such as Kidstruction Zone, Think Tank, and Diagnosis Fun rotate in and out of the museum throughout the year, so there is always something new to explore!
Field trips are self-guided and allow students and chaperones to experience the museum at their own pace. Groups are greeted by a facilitator who provides a brief overview of the museum. Staff and volunteers are available throughout the museum to make the most of your group visit.
Optional space is available for lunch or snack. Sensory toolkits for students can be checked out at the front desk. Educator Resources are available online.
