If you love thrill rides, Saugatuck Dune Rides has a sandy roller coaster ride for you.

Saugatuck Dune Rides offers several rides a day. My youngest and I enjoyed a front row view of the action.

The vehicle has long seat belts that reach across from one side to the other. Just fasten your belt, say your prayers and hang on.

Our dune ride began with stopping to observe a deer nearby in the first few moments of our ride. After pausing for the deer, we were on our way. It was one of many deer that we saw that day. With all of animals and twists and turns of road, I’m grateful the driver was a pro.

The driver also doubled as a comedian/ tour guide, who shares with you the history of the area along with a lot of jokes.

He paused several times throughout the drive to share funny stories.

This sign near the entrance was the first indicator that they like to be lighthearted and enjoy getting some laughs.

We stopped at the top of a large dune and got the opportunity to get out of the vehicle to take pictures and tackle a nearby sand dune.

My kids were having a great time running up and down the dunes…

..until my youngest ran WAY too fast down the dune and wiped out.

He was fine and just brought back a souvenir of our ride on his face.

Just keep in mind what goes down must come back up.

We have been on the dune rides up north before but the ride in Saugatuck seemed to have more of a diverse landscape with the wooded area.

You’ll have to find out for yourself if this snake is real.

This video gives you a taste of what the experience was like.

The ride was so fun and a great way to start our day in Saugatuck.

The ride lasts around 40 minutes and the ride is for ages 1 and up.

Adult $17.00
Children Ages 3 to 11 $10.00
Children 2 and Under Free
