The Playground at John Ball Park

You have several playgrounds to choose from at this park.

Valley View has a huge structure, shaded picnic tables and a pond.

Picnic Acre is a secluded, woodchip-surfaced area to the south of the park. You'll find slides, swings, climbing fun and lots of picnic tables.

Hilltop Park, known best as The Hidden Playground, is found at the park's south side off Butterworth Ave, just opposite the Kent Trails Bike Path.
Here you'll find a play structure, pretty views, as well as a beautiful stone pavilion to rent.

In 2019, a new accessible playground was unveiled. This playground is located at the southeast side of the park near Sacred Heart Academy on the corner of Park Street SW and Valley Avenue SW.
