Follow the 2/3 mile multi-use trail to a scenic pond overlook, complete with benches to take in your beautiful surroundings.
Hikers love Ball Perkins Park. You'll feel like you're alone in the woods -- even though you're still in the middle of Grand Rapids.
You can even find geocaches on the trails - or spot wild turkeys and deer.
The relatively flat, crushed stone trail makes for an easy hike.

The serene pathway at Ball Perkins Park connects Ball and Perkins. It is great for walkers, bikers and dogs.
The pathway also leads to a small pond tucked back in the woods.
The trail is only 0.65 miles long one-way so it's perfect for families. Walk the trail several times to get in your steps.

Facilities at Ball Perkins Park
There are a few benches along the trail to stop and rest and take in the beauty around you. One picnic table is on-site.
