Santa is Back at Woodland Mall

It’s that time of year when our kids get to experience magic melding with reality  – the thrill of meeting the  larger-than-life Santa in the flesh.

When my kids were younger, they took these visits very seriously.  The event always held a mixture of excitement and contained alarm.

My oldest had not-so-small obsession with reindeer from ages 2 – 4, and wore a headband with antlers for nearly a year. My antler-wearing girl peppered poor Santa one year with detailed questions about his reindeer. Santa kept looking at us as if to ask, “what is with this kid?”  The good sport patiently answered her questions as best he could.

Kids dream about this, and if they are like mine, they have been working on their Christmas lists since July.

So,  where are you going to bring your kids to see Santa?

Experience a True Winter Wonderland

Nestled in the Woodland Mall in the Macy’s Court, the Arctic Forest raises the bar in experiencing Christmas magic. A trip here will enchant your whole family. You get the feeling that you have been transported to Santa, not the other way around.

You will weave through a forest of beautifully decorated trees stretching up to 22 feet, snow-covered islands and icicle archways, as well as Ursa, an enormous 12-foot polar bear.  Seated in the heart of the Arctic Forest is Santa, ready to take photos with shoppers of all ages through Dec. 24 during regular mall hours.

Bring Your Fur Babies

Woodland Mall offers something extra special for us pet lovers. Pets are also welcome to visit Santa and be photographed with your family every Monday through Dec. 17. It’s a great way to include them in your holiday memories!

Santa Photos Pricing

Santa photo packages vary between $24.99 and $49.99. All packages include a 50% off Shutterfly promo code and a free phone call from Santa.
