What to Expect at GRAM Summer Art Camp
Campers will take part in observation and discussion surrounding art, dimension, identity, and multiculturalism while exploring the Museum’s galleries.
During a week of hands-on activities, campers will discover art techniques while bolstering their collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Age-Based Summer Art Camps at the GRAM
GRAM offers four week-long sessions tailored to specific age groups:
Artful Discoveries and Adventures: Ages 4 – 6 (June 6 – 10) - Session is Sold Out for 2022
This year’s Artful Discoveries & Adventures session features a mix of all-new projects that introduce campers to a variety of creative techniques - including printmaking, painting, and sculpture.
Campers will become Museum insiders by journeying through GRAM’s galleries and learning curatorial tips and tricks to use in their own show.
Art and Identity: Ages 7 – 9 (June 27 – July 1) - Session is Sold Out for 2022
During this week-long session, campers will explore identity and self-expression through art.
Campers will experience the work of local, regional, and national artists in GRAM’s galleries and learn how artists use different media to express themselves.
Art and Identity encourages campers to find their personal style through hands-on art activities in GRAM Studio, exploring mixed-media portraiture, symbolism, and more.
Exploring the Third Dimension: Ages 10 – 12 (July 11 – 15) - Session is Sold Out for 2022
This week, campers will discover other cultures and perspectives by observing and creating art from around the world.
This week-long session explores new dimensions and creative possibilities through 3-D artworks.
Creativity and Careers: Ages 13 – 15 (July 25 – 29) - Session is Sold Out for 2022
Is your child curious about art career offerings, but doesn’t know where to begin?
This summer, campers break away from traditional fine art and explore a variety of art careers available today.
During this week-long session, participants will explore new art making techniques and develop a personal style through design, textile printing, photography, and more.
