Work on your back handspring at Gymco’s 2-hour back handspring clinic. 2 hours of skill-specific instruction…including progressions, drills, tips, positive feedback & practice in a fun, supportive environment. It’s a safe, effective way to learn, we have the space, the rollers, the tumble track, the pit and bouncy floors for a soft landing.
- admission is $26 or $21 for Gymco members
- for kids age 6-18 years
- you don’t have to be a Gymco student to participate
- skills required to participate: cartwheel & solid handstand (or gymnastics level B student)
- pre-registration is required, space is limited
Instruction will be personalized for your skill level, the clinic is a great start for students just starting to learn a back handspring and it’s also perfect for students who almost have the back handspring down, and want some practice and specific tips to make it better. The back handspring is the ultimate combination of strength, flexibility, coordination, body awareness & confidence, we don’t guarantee that you’ll learn this skill in 2 hours, but we do know you’ll be closer to mastering this skill when you leave.
