The Lakeshore Museum Center and Muskegon Civic Theatre invite children ages 6-13 to join them for interactive theatre workshops! Each workshop will be a chance to learn about different behind-the-scenes jobs that are required to put on a show!
- June 25, Set and Backdrop Painting – Learn backdrop painting techniques and learn to create sets and props.
- July 9, Theatre Make-up Techniques – Learn how to make animals, bruises and other cool faces.
- August 20, Theatre Tech – Learn all about controlling theatre lights and sounds with a “Raspberry Pi” controller, and how technology such as 3D printers can be used to make props.
Tickets are $12 for one workshop or sign up for all three for $30! Tickets are available on Eventbrite. Space is limited. Once your child is registered, you will be sent a medical consent form to complete. For more information call (231) 722-0278.
