Amped Reality and Bricks 4 Kids invites the public and Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors to join them software coding basic and to work on steps for the Coding for Good 1: Coding Basics badge. Girls and boys will create algorithms and use LEGO technology to implement, test, and improve them. Using virtual reality technology the boys and girls will then visit with a female computer scientist and tour where she works. This is an 1 1/2 hour introduction to coding, how computers are used, and women in computer science.
