Monday, May 13, 2019 - 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The month of May is National Water Safety Month! With an abundance of water-based activities throughout West Michigan, spring is an ideal time to be reminded of the importance of teaching our children critical water safety skills.
On Monday, May 13th, the Holland Community Aquatic Center will host a Water Safety Awareness Lesson. The lesson, for students ages 6-12 years old, will blend on-deck learning and water-based skill practice. The objective of the Water Safety Awareness lesson is to provide students an opportunity to learn simple and practical safety skills prior to the Summer.
The Water Safety Awareness lesson will take place on Monday, May 13th from 5:00-6:00pm at the Holland Community Aquatic Center. This event is free of charge and all who participate in the lesson will be invited to swim for free during our Family Splash Time from 6:00-8:30pm. Participants can register by visiting the Holland Community Aquatic Center. Registration is limited so sign up today!
