Parenting is one of the hardest jobs in the world.

It’s so much more complicated when our children live in between cultures and are forced to come to terms with the complexities of not just one but multiple cultures.

As believers, we know that our identity rests in Christ, but in our daily lives, there are so many questions and unknowns that we face on a daily basis.

You’re not alone. Increasing, more and more families and children are facing these same challenges.

Wouldn’t it be nice to know that you’re not alone? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a community where you can share your questions and stories

Living Water CRC is called to be a cross-cultural community and a refuge for Third Culture Kids (TCK), adoptees and families to are navigating multiple cultures and complicated stories.

On June 27-28, we are hosting a couple events for parents of TCK & adoptee children.

On Thursday June 27 @ 6:30PM-7:30PM, Dr. Shinji Yasugi, MD will facilitate a discussion for participants as an expert, board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist.

On Friday, June 28 @ 6:30PM-7:30PM, we are inviting a panel of young adult and adult TCK & adoptees to answer any questions and facilitate a question on questions and issues that they wish their parents knew as they were growing up.

Childcare Option (Come Early!): Children may attend the concurrent VBS program at the church both evenings, starting a half hour earlier, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. In lieu of the $10 VBS registration fee, you may simply ask for a full scholarship at the time registration.
