Tuesday, February 12, 2019 - 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Are you looking to get your home-schooled students ages 5 – 10 engaged with nature and exploring outside? Then this program is for you! Each program is modeled after our Wildlife Encounter series of programs and includes an indoor classroom program followed by an time of exploration outdoors that is directly tied to the classroom learning.

Children 6 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Who’s Track is That?

Winter snow is like a blank sheet of paper. Learn what creatures are lurking in the woods by studying their tracks and how different animals move in different ways. After an indoor presentation, we?ll go on a hike outside in search of tracks in the snow and we?ll make a few of our own on the way! If snow conditions allow, we?ll use snowshoes!
