October is National Roller Skating Month! Learn how to fall down correctly, get up, stop and shoot the duck during our 15 minute learn to skate mini lesson. Skating is an easy to learn skill, skating fights obesity and skating is fun!

Roller skating involves almost all of the body’s muscles, especially the heart. Roller skating is recognized by the American Heart Association as an aerobic fitness sport. Roller skating is a great sport for kids to participate in because of the fun atmosphere. Most kids don’t even realize they are burning up to 600 calories in any hour of roller skating! It also helps gain balance.

SKATE MATE RENTAL—(Walkers) $5 deposit with $2 refund
These are helpful for the beginner skater. No need to hang on the wall!
KIDDIE CART RENTAL—(Stroller) $10 deposit—1 Hour Rental $7 Refund, 2 Hour Rental $4 Refund
SPECIAL POINTS OF INTEREST
You are welcome to bring your own roller skates or roller blades.
Non skating parents, grand parents and children under 32” are the only “free spectators:”. All others will be charged admission and skate rental (if need) whether skating or watching.
Skate rental is extra unless otherwise noted.
No outside food or drink permitted.

Socks required for JJ skate rental and Bounce Quest playground. Socks available for purchase also.
