Saturday, January 25, 2020 - 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Grand Rapids Asian-Pacific Festival (#GRAPF) Team and Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. are proud to present the Lunar New Year Festival (LYNF) as part of the 2020 World of Winter Festival!

LNYF is a celebration of the New Year based on the lunar calendar. The festival showcases a variety of cultures from all over Asia.

This year (2020) is the Year of the Rat. 2020 also marks the beginning of another 12-year cycle of the Zodiac.

Come and celebrate GRAPF’s first Lunar New Year event with great entertainment and authentic food that will warm your soul – all located under a widespread heating tent!

There will be a kid’s fun section, dragon dance performances from Calvin College students, firecrackers, and lion dancers!

We will also give away prizes throughout the night – so keep an eye out for interactive activities for a chance to win gift cards and other special items!

This event is FREE to attend. Come and go as you please! Invite your friends, family, neighbors and others to join the celebration!

If you’d like to volunteer for this event or if you have further questions, email Event Coordinators Kathy Bui ([email protected]) and Kim Nguyen ([email protected]).
