Saturday, November 3, 2018 - 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Like the characters found in Emily St. John Mandel’s Station Eleven, Holland’s early settlers had to learn new skills to build a community far from their original home. Children ages 7-12 are invited to join us at the Settlers House (190 W. 9th St.) to learn and practice some of these skills, including: transporting water, doing chores, making a lantern, playing games, finger knitting, and more.
Space is limited, and advance registration is required. Please call 616-796-3329 to register.
