Kick off your St. Patrick’s Day celebration at our 4th annual St. Paddy’s Leprechaun Chase 5K run on Saturday, March 16, 2019. Participants are encouraged to dress for the occasion in green or your favorite Irish costume. We start the activities at 8:30 AM with our half-mile Wee Chase around Centennial Park for kids 8 and under. The registration fee is free for the Wee Chase, but parents of the little lads and lasses must sign them up through Runsignup or at Centennial Park prior to the run. At 8:45 AM our 5K starts at Centennial Park.
This run winds through downtown Holland, historic Windmill Island and the Hope College campus. (See course map here.) The registration fee is $25. Register by March 10 to be guaranteed to receive either a St. Paddy’s Leprechaun Chase long sleeve tech-blend shirt or running hat. Pre-race day Packet Pickup location will be announced later. Race-day registration and packet pickup available from 7:30-8:30 AM at the race tent at Centennial Park. Race day registration will be $30. Both the 5K and Wee Chase on-site signup will close just prior to the race. Coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts will be available after the run. This is a fundraising event of Holland Running Club with proceeds will benefit the Lakeshore Chapter of myTEAM TRIUMPH, an organization that is dedicated to providing the experience of road racing to individuals with disabilities
