Explore the universe of honey bees by learning the three types of bees in a hive, how bees produce honey and how it is harvested, as well as, the importance of honey bees to our food supply through pollination. Find out why the beekeeper wears a suit that makes him look like an astronaut, and discover how to make space in your world for honey bees. After the presentation the audience can have a taste of honey, produce a hand-rolled beeswax candle to take home, and view live honey bees in the safe, controlled environment of an observation hive.
