John Ball Zoo is celebrating World Penguin Day on April 25!

Get to know Magellanic penguins! You can learn how your actions have an impact on the wild penguin populations and how John Ball Zoo participates in penguin conservation.

Magellanic penguins are considered “near threatened” and declining in the wild. John Ball Zoo participates in the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ (AZA) Species Survival Plan (SSP).

Please consider donating on World Penguin Day at the Zoo
to support the care of our animals and of those in the wild!

More details coming soon.
