Join us at HIS Dance Academy for a SUMMER STAYCATION! Whether you’re advanced or just beginning, HIS Dance is a place to call home!
Recreational and Graded Technique Class Offerings
Recreational and Graded Technique Class Offerings
Recreational:
A variety of weekly themed morning and evening classes on Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's including Beach Ballet, Hip Hop Flip Flop, Tropical Tap and Flamingo Jazz will provide a fun atmosphere for Preschool through teens.
HIS Dance Sampler for ages 6+ with rotating classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, and Hip Hop will allow students to sample all genres of dance. Adult classes are also available.
All classes will include scripture memorization to dance positions and fun favors to take home and share.

- HIS Open House / 20 year celebration! Wednesday August 17
Graded Technique: Weekly classes offered in Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Conditioning for Apprentice (ages 8+yrs with experience) Intermediate and Advanced dancers.
Graded Technique Intensive:
Full Day Intensive August 8 -12 9:00AM to 4:00PM for Intermediate and Advanced students.
Half-Day Intensive August 8-12 9:00AM to 12:30PM for ages 8+ (with ballet experience) New this year!
Classes in Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Men's Class, Partnering, Repertoire, Modern, Musical Theatre, Hip-Hop and African Drumming will be offered. Dancers will learn from current HIS teachers, various guest instructors from west Michigan and Hope College.
With daily lunch lectures regarding post high school aspirations such as college dance programs, professional dance companies, summer intensives, nutrition and Physical Therapy from Athletico, etc.

HIS House is a place of refuge for children to express and connect their love of Jesus with dance. Within each dance class devotions, prayer and scripture memorization takes place to build into the foundation of Hope, Joy & Growth.
