What to Expect at Salvation Army Kroc Center

The Salvation Army Kroc Center’s Day Camp is a Christian camp, licensed through the State of Michigan, offering children ages 5–12 the opportunity to engage in fun–filled activities in a safe and positive environment.

Campers will experience a week full of age–appropriate activities including arts & crafts, sports, games, music, swimming, slip & slide, Bible activities, field trips, and more!

What To Expect At Camp Kroc This Summer

Each day at Camp Kroc includes a morning game, ice–breakers, worship, camp songs and large and small group activities. Campers are grouped for the week by age.

Activities vary each day to keep things fun and exciting.

Junior Counselors

This is a great opportunity for teens (ages 13–17). Junior Counselors assist our day camp counselors and gain experience working with children in a structured, supervised environment.

Teens will spend the day paired with a camp counselor and potentially one other junior counselor. Weekly trainings will focus on effective leadership skills.

Hours spent as a junior counselor can also be used as volunteer hours for school!

Applicants must meet with the Day Camp Supervisor at least three weeks prior to desired camp start date.
