About Saugatuck Dunes State Park

Saugatuck Dunes State Park offers four different trail loops at varying lengths from 2.5 to 5.2 miles.
Several of the trails lead to the sandy Lake Michigan shoreline, so it is a fun spot for the kids to break up the hike.
These trails are also very dog friendly, but note they are not allowed on the beach.

Hiking Trail Details
Saugatuck Dunes State Park offers four different walking trail loops at varying lengths from 1.5 to 5.5 miles, several of which lead to the sandy Lake Michigan shoreline.
Hikes lead through beautiful pine forests & sandy hills with natural surfaces and they all end at an overlook of the lake.
These trails are also very dog friendly but note they are not allowed on the beach.
Be sure to check out the trail map before your hike as they may not be readily available at the trailhead.
