About William Field Memorial Hart-Montague Trail State Park

The William Field Memorial Hart-Montague Trail State Park is a 22+ mile trail that connects Hart, Shelby, Montague and Whitehall.
It travels through farms, orchards and forest areas and has scenic overlooks and picnic tables to stop and rest or have some lunch along the way.
Be sure to keep your eyes open for deer and other wildlife.
Trail is also great for cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and horseback riding (on a certain section only!) Trail-goers will find stops along the way for ice cream and other goodies.
Trail has both a northern and a southern trailhead, or it can be accessed at other various points along the route.
