Leslie E. Tassell Park is a quiet little gem with a small-town feel.

Formerly a private residence, Leslie E. Tassell donated the space to the Cascade community.

With restrooms and covered picnic spots, this is a great location for parties. Plus take advantage of the fire pit ring by the water.

Sometimes you'll get lucky and be able to see the dam lower and raise.

Bronze sculptures at this fun kids park include children playing ring around the rosy and another of a grandpa telling his grandson about the size of a fish.

There's even sculptures as part of the splash pad!

There are some great fishing spots here.

Pro tip: walk across the street to get some yummy coffee and ice cream.

The Splashpad at Leslie E. Tassell Park

The small, circular splash pad is ringed with landscaping and landscaping bricks, perfect for perching as you watch the kids play.

The water in this area spouts up from the ground. Bring a plastic cup to put on top and watch it fly into the air!

But the main draw at the splash pad is the inclusion of sculptures as water features.
