Discover the Magic of the 2025 Aquinas College Academic and Sports Summer Camps!

Are you ready to embark on an unforgettable summer adventure? The 2025 Aquinas College Summer Camps are designed with YOU in mind to ignite passions, foster friendships, and create lasting memories for campers of all ages!

1. Are you a Jazz enthusiast who would like to learn the fundamentals of Jazz, explore big bands, and arrange your own Jazz composition – all while having fun playing with other Jazz musicians?

2. Maybe you are a budding scientist and engineer who loves to solve challenging design problems? How about building your own (marble) roller coaster, or constructing a toothpick bridge to support as much weight as possible? Calling all creative minds for this fun and interactive “hands-on” camp!

3. How about a truly magical camp where YOU are the hero? Join AQ’s “Dungeon Masters” who will guide you to create your own unique fantasy universe as you play a game that involves imagination, storytelling, problem solving, and tons of action!

Nestled in the heart of Grand Rapids, MI, the park-like atmosphere and natural beauty of Aquinas’ campus is an integral part of our campers’ experience.

It provides a sense of place and a safe and nurturing environment where campers can explore, learn, and grow under the guidance of our experienced camp directors.

Enjoying new academic explorations and athletic endeavors that take place both indoors and outdoors, campers can immerse themselves in various parts of our beautiful and accessible campus, from the modern science labs to expansive sports fields, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience.

A Camp for Every Interest

Our diverse camp offerings cater to a wide range of interests, ensuring every camper finds their perfect fit:

1. Music (Jazz):
The very popular AQ Summer Jazz Camp has been a true treasure for West Michigan students for almost 40 years!

The faculty of the AQ Music Department in collaboration with expert Jazz musicians from various parts of Michigan, are very excited to host the annual Summer Jazz Camp again in 2025.

They’re coming back stronger than ever with this creative, expressive, and educational experience that has been enjoyed by so many young musicians!

* Sunday, June 15 – Friday, June 20, 2025 (Sun: 1-4PM, M-F: 9AM-5PM)
* Grades 6-12
* 10 half-tuition Scholarships are available
* Highlights: Combos, big bands, faculty concerts, concerts featuring students with Faculty, Master classes and electives
* Choices: Jazz Theory, Improvisation, Jazz Styles and Analysis, Instrument Masterclasses, and Hand Drumming
* Day Camp: $350 (Sunday, June 15 – Friday, June 20, 2025)
* Overnight Camp: $650 (Sunday, June 15 – Friday, June 20, 2025)
The camp fee includes all materials, supplies, classes, lunches, and a camp T-Shirt!

2. AQ Saints Science (Engineering):
The Saints Science Camp is a creative, fun and interactive “hands-on” summer science program that seeks to inspire campers with awe and wonder about the beauty and complexity of nature. We also begin to plant the seeds of “service through science”.

We are excited to welcome campers to our state-of-the-art Albertus Magnus Hall of Science, and look forward to exploring scientific challenges with you, and finding answers to design and engineering questions!

* Monday, June 9 – Friday, June 13, 2025 (M-F: (AM – 12PM)
* Grade 5-8
* 10 half-tuition Scholarships are available
* Highlights: Design a toothpick bridge, Build a roller coaster, Design an obstacle course, Explore animal sounds, shelters, and adaptations
* Day Camp: $250 (The camp fee includes all materials, supplies, classes and a camp T-Shirt!)

3. Adventures (Roleplay Gaming):
Step into fantastical realms and embark on epic quests in our roleplay gaming camp. Campers will develop storytelling skills, teamwork, and creativity as they navigate immersive scenarios.

* Day Camp 1: July 21 – 24 (M-Th: 9AM – 4PM)
* Day Camp 2: July 28 – 31 (M-Th: 9AM – 4PM)
* Overnight Camp: August 1 – 3 (F-Su: 1PM – 10AM)
* Grades 6-12
* A limited number of partial Scholarships are available
* Highlights: Gaming, Roleplay, and Exploration; Improvisation; Stage Combat; Mapmaking; Storytelling; Creating Epic Adventures; Painting, Drawing, and Visual Arts; Miniatures!; Evil economics and barbarian societies; Digital roleplaying games and eSports; Monster menageries and magical items
* Day Camps: $350 (each) (Mo-Th: July 21-24 and July 28-31, 2025)
* Overnight Camp: $500 (Fr-Su: August 1-3, 2025)

4. Multiple Sports Camps:
For the athletically inclined, we offer a plethora of sports camps, including:
