Got a signature activity or tradition everyone looks forward to each year?
Each of our half-day camps includes a daily STEAM activity that allows students to use their math skills in a hands-on way.
The activities cover a wide variety of mathematical applications, including age-appropriate introductions to coding, structure design, and financial literacy!
Anything new or exciting this year?
This is the first year that some of our STEAM activities include financial literacy materials!
All of our financial literacy activities are scaled to age level, from general awareness to financial planning.
It is never too early to start learning the math of money.
What’s a typical day like from start to finish?
Our half-day camps start with a daily STEAM activity that generally involves collaborating with other campers.
The second hour of their day is spent working on individual math learning plans that support the basic math skills they will need for their math class next school year.
Campers end their day with a session of math-based games that they can play with peers and our instructors. Each daily activity connects to a common theme or mathematical application for that day.
What’s one thing parents always thank you for at pickup?
Parents tend to be surprised that kids leave as excited as they do about math.
Our biggest smiles from parents come from our ability to make math fun and accessible.
No tears here...unless they're from laughing too hard during one of our activities!
