Play Around on the Playground
The playground at 8th Avenue Park has all the fun features of a great playground.
Classics like swings (including baby swings) and twisty slides sit next to more unique features like a trampoline.

Everything is so fun that even the most cautious kids will find themselves bravely climbing through the tangled climbing structure.

The restrooms are right next to the playground and the beach, making the transition from one to the next much simpler. Restrooms are open Memorial Day – Labor Day.

8th Avenue Park features a paved one-mile walking path around the lake, perfect for an afternoon stroll, or to dry off after a swim.
For more adventurous fun, bring the roller blades or bikes and travel the path on wheels!

Bring your fishing gear and set your sights on the large dock. 8th Ave Park is a great fishing spot!

Smallmouth bass can be found swimming around here along with other common Michigan lake species.
