Camp Curious 2021 2

Join the Grand Rapids Public Museum this summer to explore the wonders of science, history and culture in-person with Camp Curious or from the comfort of your home with Digital Discovery Sessions!

What to Expect at Camp Curious

Kids pre-K through 12th grade will have special access to the Museum to use as a learning lab – experimenting, creating, exploring and having fun through a variety of offerings beginning mid-June through mid-August, 2021.

Camp Curious will be offered at the Grand Rapids Public Museum in small group settings for the safety of campers, with COVID screening and masks required. Digital Discovery sessions will take place virtually, using common household supplies with screen time dedicated to instruction and questions. Both will provide students with the tools and guidance they need to have fun while learning and making genuine connections to the curriculum and the Museum.

Camp Curious offers single day or multiple day camps and are available by the grade level students will be entering in the fall.

Popular camp themes range from Slimy Science and Fossil Hunters to Dream it, Build it with LEGO® Bricks and Young Wizards Academy and more. New, in-person camps this year include River Critters, Adaptations & Pollinators, Fun Tech, and River Explorers.

West Michigan summer camps are ON for 2021! Many camps fill up quickly, so sign up as soon as possible.

While I do love summer camps, the cost can add up, especially if you have multiple children.

I love finding Vacation Bible Schools for my kids because those are usually free.

We’ve also compiled this list of Camp Scholarships and Other Low-Cost Camps around West Michigan.
