We have no shortage of indoor play options in the West Michigan area where kids can burn off energy and spark their imaginations. But, we don’t have one with an underwater theme and live jellies!
Mermaid Bay Kids Indoor Play is making waves in Wyoming as the area’s first underwater-themed indoor playground. It will be filled to the brim with a treasure trove of goodies sure to delight your littlest sailors and mermaids.

We got a sneak peek and were not disappointed:
Three Story Play Structure
The three story play structure has everything you’ve come to expect in these super fun areas.
It’s full of obstacles so kids can swing, climb, slide and shoot to their heart’s content.
And of course it has an epic light-up slide into a giant ball pit.
Toddler Zone
The toddler play area has plenty of places to climb, hide, slide and pretend.
Role play areas in the toddler section include a kitchen, supermarket and hospital.
They even have their own slide into a ball pit – where there’s a cannon to shoot balls at an interactive screen.
Bounce and Eat – But Not at the Same Time
When it’s time for some fun outside of the play structure, there’s four trampolines beckoning for bouncing and shooting baskets.
Everyone’s sweet tooth will be begging for treats from the giant candy wall.
There is also an on-site gift shop that includes more candy plus chocolates and trinkets.
No need to pack a lunch – reasonably priced food, snacks, coffee and kid-friendly beverages will be available for purchase.
Other Touches
Families will appreciate the other small touches at Mermaid Bay Kids Indoor Play including:
- Comfy, private nursing rooms
- Seating area where you can work on your laptop while your kids play
- One massive party room and one small party room
- Live jellyfish (yes, you read that correctly!)
Mermaid Bay Kids Indoor Play is shaping up to be a mash-up of Catch Air, Rebounderz and a massive candy shop — and we are here for it.

Good to Know
- One parent included with admission
- Socks required, but they don’t have to be their brand. You can buy them if you forget.
- Even though it has a mermaid name, it’s not girly at all. It’s very much underwater themed including a dress up area for pirates and mermaids.

Sunday: 10 AM – 7 PM
Admission
Playtime is packed full of adventure at Mermaid Bay. Every paid play session is 2-hours long and cost is based on age and day of the week.

Tuesday is Homeschool day: $10 admission for students
