We have no shortage of indoor play options in the West Michigan area where kids can burn off energy and spark their imaginations. But, we don’t have one with an underwater theme and live jellies!
Mermaid Bay Kids Indoor Play is making waves in Wyoming as the area’s first underwater-themed indoor playground. It will be filled to the brim with a treasure trove of goodies sure to delight your littlest sailors and mermaids.
The playground will be a one of a kind experience, so don’t drift away, we’ve got all the details!
What We Know So Far: Jellyfish, Candy & Boatloads of Fun
The new playground is aiming to be open to the public near the end of August 2025.
So let’s deep dive into what we already know:
- Indoor play structures, ball pits and soft sculptures and role play areas (think hospital, kitchen & supermarket)
- Slides for all ages: light up slides, a rotation slide and toddler slides
- Three-leveled play structure and obstacle course to climb and explore
- Trampolines, basketball hoops and air cannons. And did we mention massive ball pits?
- On-site gift and candy shop featuring over 100 types of candies, chocolate and trinkets
- Live jellyfish (yes, you read that correctly!)
- Food, snacks, coffee and kid-friendly beverages available for purchase
- Comfy, private nursing rooms
Mermaid Bay Kids Indoor Play is shaping up to be a mash-up of Catch Air, Rebounderz and a massive candy shop — and we are here for it.

Admission
Playtime is packed full of adventure at Mermaid Bay. Every paid play session is 2-hours long and cost is based on age and day of the week.
