Corn Maze, Sunflowers & More Come to Coopersville
Fall fun is blooming all across West Michigan, and we’re thrilled to welcome a delightful new addition to the scene: Sunflower Meadows in Coopersville! If you want an alternative to the hustle and bustle of some of the larger fall farms, this place might be the ticket.
They opened just a few short weeks ago and are already welcoming families and explorers who want to try out their corn maze, pet the goats, and pick a pumpkin or flowers.
Flowers, Flowers Everywhere
It seems apparent that this family-run farm is all about the simple pleasures of fall. Their U-pick sunflower and wildflower fields are a definite highlight. They even have a sunflower maze.
For just $6, you can wander the fields, pick your own bouquet, and snap some beautiful photos among the blooms. (The flowers do start to fade in September, so check their status before you go if you’re wanting to pick flowers.)
Corn Maze Fun
For those looking for a little adventure – but not too big of an adventure – the farm’s 6-acre corn maze hits that Goldilocks spot: it’s not too big and not too small. It’s the perfect size – a good dose of fun without taking up your whole day. Plus, they’ve added a crossword puzzle game to make things more interesting while you wind through the maze.
$8/person or $40 max per family (kids under 2 are free)
Tip: Wear sturdy shoes – farm terrain can be a bit uneven.
Kid-Friendly Attractions
If you’ve got little ones, Sunflower Meadows is a great spot for them, too.
They’ll keep busy climbing Tire Mountain, running through the straw bale maze, and saying hello to the animals at the petting zoo.
You can even grab a cup of feed for $3 and let the kids feed the goats.
Got extra time? Head out to the pumpkin patch or take a moment to enjoy the nature walk, where you can spot cows grazing in the pasture.
