The park also includes a variety of athletic fields, a walking path, and a playground.

The Playground at Maplewood Park

The signage on the playground has one section as 2+ and another as 5+, but it is one big unit.

There is not a separate toddler playground.

The uppermost levels of the play structure have open spaces to climbers that may make parents of toddlers nervous.

The surface is recycled tires.

The Splashpad at Maplewood Park

Open Memorial Day-Labor Day and completely fenced in.

There are some picnic tables nearby - a few are shaded.

There are plenty of grassy areas for picnic blankets.

The smaller toddler toys are on one end of the pad and taller dump buckets and squirters are on the other.

Facilities at Maplewood Park

Bathrooms are available Memorial Day-Labor Day when the splash pad is open.

Port-a-potty on-site year-round.
