Park Managed by Kent County Parks and Trails
Park Website
Spanning over 250 acres (including parts of the North Country Trail), this is a popular place for kids and families to hike, explore an historic covered bridge, play on the playground, or take fall family photos.
The Playground at Fallasburg Park
There are various play structures throughout the park. The main structure, at the main entrance area, has a mixture of paved turf and wood chips.
Toddlers would best enjoy the smaller play structure near the covered bridge, though the main playground is great for all ages.

The Walking Paths at Fallasburg Park
There are various hiking trail options at Fallasburg Park, some paved and some through woods.
The hike from the main enclosed shelter to the covered bridge and then back up past the creek is a relatively easy (though longish) walk, but you’ll want a baby carrier for smaller kids.
TIP: While Covered Bridge road does take you back in time in a way, remember that you’re still walking on a paved road that cars occasionally travel on – be extra watchful of small children.
