Watch Your Kid Level Up To Swimming Success at Aqua-Tots

Ready to Dive In to Swim Lessons?

One of the most important skills a Michigan kid needs to learn is how to swim. After all, we are surrounded by water, and most of our summers are spent around it.

But when it comes to swim lessons, where to start? And when? Is my baby too small? Is my elementary aged-kid too old?

Aqua-Tots has got all your questions covered! Offering the highest quality swim lessons along with a fun and simple approach, Aqua-Tots will leave you and your kids feeling confident at the beach all summer long.

Learning to Swim at Aqua-Tots is as Easy as 1-2-3

There is so much to love about Aqua-Tots! From flexible scheduling to low-pressure lessons in a 90 degree pool, your kids will be ready for the Olympics in no time.

1 – Flexibility For Your Busy Schedule

Aqua-Tots goes the extra mile to serve their swimmers and families.

Open seven days a week year-round, there are no designated enrollment periods. That means your kiddo can start  swim lessons right away – no waiting for the next session to begin or being placed on the dreaded Wait List.

Even better, siblings can take lessons within the same timeframe so there’s no need to come back multiple times in one day or entertain one kid while the other is in the pool.

Unlike some other facilities, parents at Aqua-Tots are allowed in the 90-degree pool until their child reaches two and a half years old. You’re then encouraged to watch and cheer on your little fish so you’re not left wondering what to do until the lesson is over.

2 – You’re Treated Like Family Here

Not only is the Aqua-Tots swim staff incredibly knowledgeable, they are also committed to treating everyone that comes in like family.

The front desk staff greets you by name as soon as you arrive. Whether you’re mom, dad, grandma, aunt or uncle, you’ll feel warm and welcome before even dipping a toe into the water.

With their small 4:1 student-teacher ratio, swim instructors get to know their students well and are able to give more personalized feedback and encouragement.

This reassuring, supportive environment especially helps more anxious swimmers. They learn  not to be scared of the water, but rather how to be safe around it and ultimately have fun!

Not ready to jump in right away? No problem! Aqua-Tots offers a free, no-pressure swim lesson to ensure they’re a good fit for you and your family.

3 – Swim At Your Own Pace

Aqua-Tots doesn’t just teach kids how to swim – they teach all ages and all swim levels. Starting at four months old and going all the way through adulthood, there are lessons for anyone wanting to learn.

Plus there’s no rush to get to the next level. While staff generally recommends lessons twice per week, there is no wrong way to take lessons here.

Levels 1 and 2 are age-driven (level 1: four months – one year, Level 2: one – two and half year olds), but starting at level 3, all progressions are fully self-driven based on the skills learned. Once a child has learned the necessary skills, they move up to the next level.

Some kids are fast learners, and others may need extra time, and there’s plenty of room for both at Aqua-Tots. But with such personalized instruction, kids will quickly build their swimming confidence.

Bonus Fun

Aqua-Tots makes the most of their state-of-the-art facility by not only offering swim lessons, but also events like open swim, birthday parties, and swim club (for swimmers in more advanced levels looking to challenge themselves more).
