Grand Rapids’ Premier Summer Day Camp can be found just 5 miles northwest of downtown at ADVENTURE POINT.
3213 Walker Avenue, right at 96, makes us the most accessible outdoor camp in Kent County!
Our campus includes 40 acres of wooded trails, an outdoor climbing tower, bouldering wall courses, archery and BB ranges, full working greenhouse, team sports field, Ninja Challenge Course, covered pavilions for dining and program – all built around the beautiful Mill Creek.
All youth, ages 7 – 13, can have a life changing experience in the outdoors for one week – or all 6!
Our State of MI licensed Day Camp has an all-inclusive registration fee, which includes all supplies, fully trained and certified professional Camp Staff, lunch w/milk, and healthy snacks each day.
Programs are delivered to youth divided in two age groups (7-10 and 11 – 13), with small groups of no more than 15 per counselor – allowing all campers to enjoy the experience designed for their age and pace.
Our campers love lounging in the hammock village in the shade on a warm day, splashing in the water days on our playing fields (where the Walker Fire Department provides the water!), and a full day of new friends, new skills, and FUN every day.

Our camp skills are all CHALLENGE by CHOICE.
This means campers determine on the first day what they feel comfortable doing – whether it’s climbing, archery, gaga ball, building Legos, planting seeds in our children’s gardens – or meeting new friends.
Each day, they’re offered the opportunity to climb a little higher if they wish – or try a new skill like building a campfire (s’mores included!), learning how to use a compass, or gazing at the stars in our indoor planetarium.
Have a shy camper? First time day camper? No worries!
We have modern indoor restrooms, amazing counselors who stay with their campers all day, and lots of quiet time spaces when they just like to wind down.
Rainy days? We’ve got them covered, too!
We have as many rainy-day programs as we do sunny day fun, so weather never interferes with the fun at Adventure Point.
Movie days, indoor shelter building, even indoor archery! Our staff has built more fun than we have time to deliver for every camper.
Friday FUN DAYS are optional for every camper, and they can even have friends sign up for just this ONE special day each week.
Non-traditional camp programs on Fridays will be announced at our Open House on April 18, 2024, 6 PM – 8 PM – open to everyone.

Easy online registration. Download all of the forms you’ll need to bring on camper’s first day.
Our camp is a CLOSED CAMPUS. This means parents/guests drop off campers at our check in gate, but are not allowed to enter the camp.
We take the safety and health of your campers very seriously, and you can be assured that we are thorough in providing your camper a safe place to enjoy their summer days.
Our staff is licensed and insured, with hours of youth protection training, first aid/CPR, behavior management, and mental health/well being training.
Weekly rates include a camp shirt for each camper, all supplies, lunch/milk, healthy snacks and many program take homes.
Camp hours begin early (8:00 AM) so working parents can check-in on their way to work. Day Camp Program begins at 9:00 AM – so no rush to be here before then if that works in your schedule.
We have before and after program FUN areas for your campers each day. Regular pick up starts at 3:45 and late pick up ends at 4:30. Easy access to our entrance gate right in our parking lot.
