A Music Machine - made from broken instruments and discarded furniture - is activated when visitors turn a large copper crank. Cogs trigger a woodpecker keeping the beat, a skunk on washboard, and a squirrel adding his jam.
Hand-dyed, hand-hooked wool strips covering a 5.5 ft x 2 ft linen backing.
Giant! Thousands of multicolored tape strips were used to recreate iconic figure Frida Kahlo.
Intricate mechanical-pencil drawings of whitetail deer that passed through the artist's yard.
24 images of the grounds left in the bottom of a stainless steel mug after drinking his coffee.
5 paintings of the same 4 friends through the trials, triumphs, celebrations, secrets , vacation days, contemplation days of life. Enjoyment (childhood), Expectation (young adulthood), Encouragement (middle age), Endurance (seniors), Enrichment (friends of varying ages).
Vibrant oil painting that zooms in on the structural components of kites and the spindle of string needed to make the kites soar.
