Exciting News

Wahlfield Park is one of many parks in the area to be receiving updates in 2025.

Updates and changes for Wahlfield Park include a 10-acre dog park, new restroom and washing facility, and a new 100 space parking lot at the mountain bike and playground trailhead.

The Scoop on the Trails at Wahlfield Park

Wahlfield Park is tucked away off of Alpine and 8 Mile Road and offers 283 acres (yes, you read the right!) of natural land to explore. The trails vary from wooded creek views to endless, open field views.

A large playground is at the trail head along with several picnic tables. We hit the trails first and then rewarded enthusiastic hikers with a snack and playtime!

There are several wooden bridges crossing the creek that makes their way through the park, but the majority of the trails are dirt or gravel–so it’s best to leave the strollers behind.
