Let’s Explore Clay: Kids Summer Clay Camp at Pottery Lane!
This action-packed day camp runs from 10 AM to 2 PM and costs $60 per participant.

Calling all budding artists! Unleash your creativity and get your hands dirty at Pottery Lane’s exciting Summer Clay Camp! This one-day program is perfect for children ages 6-16 to explore the wonderful world of pottery.

Here’s what your child can expect:

Morning:
Introduction to clay and handbuilding techniques.
Kids will design and create their very own unique clay project (think bowls, cups, creatures, or anything their imagination conjures).
Learn basic pottery tools and explore creative possibilities with clay.

Lunch Break: (Please pack a lunch and drink for your child.)

Afternoon:
Time to get hands-on with the potter’s wheel! Our experienced instructors will guide your child through the exciting process of wheel throwing.

Learn centering techniques and create a simple form on the wheel. Unleash their inner potter and have some messy fun!

Decoration & Glazing: Back to their hand built creations, your child will add texture, designs, and personality to their masterpiece.

We’ll provide a variety of glazes to choose from, bringing their creations to life with vibrant colors.

There is a cost savings when registering more than one child at a time:
1 child: $60
2 children: $110
3 children : $150

Unleash Your Inner Potter: Teen Wheel Throwing Bootcamp at Pottery Lane!
This 4-day program, runs from 10 AM to 2 PM each day, cost is $240 per participant.

Calling all creative teens! Are you ready to transform a lump of clay into something amazing? Join us for an intensive Teen Wheel Throwing Bootcamp at Pottery Lane this summer!

Take your pottery skills to the next level. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, our experienced instructors will guide you through everything you need to know.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Centering Techniques:
Master the art of centering clay on the wheel, the foundation for all thrown pottery.

Throwing Basics:
Learn various throwing techniques to create cylinders, bowls, cups, and more!

Advanced Skills:
Explore more challenging shapes, experiment with different thicknesses, and refine your throwing control.

Trimming & Finishing:
Learn how to clean up your creations with trimming tools and refine their final form.

Handle & Decoration Magic:
Discover how to create and attach beautiful handles for your pieces. We’ll also explore carving, underglaze painting, and other surface decoration techniques to personalize your work.

By the end of this bootcamp, you’ll have a collection of unique pottery pieces that showcase your newfound skills and creativity!

Please note: Participants will need to bring their own lunch each day. All fired clay creations will be available for pick-up approximately 2 weeks after the camp.
