Giant Inflatable Park, FunBox, Opens July 4 Outside Woodland Mall
FunBox, a large-scale inflatable playground billed as the “World’s Biggest Bounce Park,” is opening in Grand Rapids on July 4 and includes a 23-foot slide!
The outdoor setup will operate through August 10, 2025 in the parking lot of Woodland Mall near Von Maur.
The space is decked out with climbing elements, slides, obstacle courses, and soft landings built into every corner.
What to Expect
Covering a massive 25,000 square feet, FunBox is actually ten interconnected bounce zones designed for a wide age range.
In addition to the 23-foot slide, expect to play on an obstacle course, ninja wall, marshmallow-shaped climbing structure, and battle beam.
To keep kids safe, there are clear safety rules.
And, kids under 5 need an adult to accompany them into the inflatables, plus all children under 13 must have an adult stay on-site.
Adults can participate or watch, but tickets are required for anyone over age 2. Socks are required for all guests. The setup is outdoors, so weather may affect availability.

FunBox was designed with a “kid-first” approach. While it’s colorful and photo-friendly, the goal is hands-on, energetic play.
A portion of each ticket supports local foster care programs, with a focus on teens and young adults. This community partnership is part of the FunBox model in every city.
