ADA, LOWELL, ATLO: There are spectacular Halloween houses east of Grand Rapids – but they’re quite spread out. This 90 minute route is full of inflatables – but there’s some spookier houses, too. You’ll also hit a Halloween light show in Alto (stay at least 10 minutes!) and another in Lowell.
Bonus! Many of these areas have several houses on the street (including two cul-de-sacs right by each other!) who decorate, making your drive even better.

Visit after dark on Friday and Saturday evenings in October. Maze entrance open until 8 PM.
Tickers are $10 for adults and $7 for kids. Buy online.
They are a great place to stop if you want donuts and cider, too. (Heidi’s is closed Sundays.)
