Happy Kids Indoor Playground Set to Open December 16, 2024
As the colder weather approaches, it’s time for west Michigan families to start finding places to play indoors. If you’ve been missing Catch Air, brace yourself.
Happy Kids Indoor Playground is coming to Kentwood this winter and it has serious Catch Air vibes.
They open their doors to the public on Monday, December 16, 2024 — just in time for winter break.

The Inside Scoop on Happy Kids Indoor Playground
Happy Kids Indoor Playground has everything your kids age 10 and under could want in an indoor play area.
Different from Catch Air, Happy Kids is all about incorporating technology into play.
Kids will love shooting balls out of a cannon and at the arcade-game style screen.
They can bounce on trampolines while also hitting buttons to play a game.
Head into an alcove to play Game Grid. The objective of this huge dance floor style game is to only step on the blue squares.
All Your Indoor Playground Favs Are Here, Too
It’s not all about technology, though. Happy Kids Indoor Playground has plenty of play areas without it.
There’s big slides that end in giant ball pits, obstacle courses and climbing walls. And that’s just the beginning.
Kids will have a ball swinging on hanging ropes and climbing through the rope obstacle course.
The obstacle course continues beyond the ropes for more climbing fun.
Kids will also love soaring down slides and landing in a ball pit. And get this: the slides light up!
Keep exploring and you’ll find a disco dancing room, pretend play area and LEGO® house.
Dramatic play areas include a kitchen, supermarket and princess dressing room.
Don’t miss out on more fun with balls. If you hung out at Catch Air, you’ll recognize this ball play area.
There’s air cannons that shoot balls.
Get more hands-on with the balls and create an obstacle course for them. Balls get sucked up, shot out and may even bonk you on the head.
Got little ones? There’s a special play area just for toddlers that’s separate from all the big-kid-chaos.
It includes a slide, ride on carousel and a bus.
Play All Day With On-Site Food Options
No need to go home when it’s time for lunch.
Happy Kids Indoor Playground has a mini cafe where you can get your kid favs: pizza, nuggets and other child-pleasers. And grab a cup of espresso for yourself.
Parties, Programs and Field Trips: Add Happy Kids to Your List
Happy Kids Indoor Playground also offers birthday party packages and field trip options.
They’ll also be adding educational classes to their future line-up.

Tickets are sold for 2-hr play time periods. Memberships are also available.
