COMSTOCK PARK, EGR, WALKER – There are dozens of great Halloween houses around Grand Rapids. But we think this northeast route has the best Halloween vibes, especially with The Haunting of Storybook Hollow!
This 79 minute driving route includes East Grand Rapids where you can zip through a bunch of clustered displays in a matter of minutes.

**When you finish, drive 20 mins north to hit a bonus stop: Rasch’s Haunted Corn Maze & Sunflower Maze.

Haunting of Storybook Hollow

This one is more than just a drive by – you can walk the haunted trails in front of and behind the house! Follow their Facebook page for the latest updates.
Storybook Hollow is centered on an entire story of whimsical villagers celebrating a festival when the ghosts of villains past try to crash the party.
Designed by the artist, the entire house’s facade is transformed into a feast of frightful whimsy that people drive for miles around to see.
They’re working on some fairly big changes to hours and parking procedures this year. Watch their Facebook page for that info.
Lights, music, and effects turn on at dusk.

Only the bravest among you will want to check out these Funhouse CarnEvil decorations including lots of creepy clowns.
The homeowners built most of the structures themselves! You'll find a lighted Funhouse sign, ticket booth, large jack in the box, spider photo opp, rotton candy and clowns around every corner.

Several creepy creatures at this house - most notable is the fact that they are completely black under the cloak of darkness -- until they come "alive" as you get close to them.
They will startle you.
And your dog.
And your husband. We speak from experience.

These neighbors have built a frightful scene on Hall Street just east of Plymouth.
1920 Hall has a large light up display with two massive skeletons hovering over tombstones, a ghost-girl on a swing, and a pair of skeletons bringing more residents to the graveyard.
Next door, look for the giant spider that has crept down from the housetop and is creeping towards an old graveyard.
But don't worry - a pair of skeletons are keeping watch of the sidewalk and hopefully will keep that spider from curious passersby!
This year there are some new spooky friends on the rooftops, and a 20' creepster lording over the yard.

Along with a working chandelier, full funeral display AND a cemetery with watchman, you can also hear the organ play at 6 PM each night.
