Magic at the Mill is Back for a Second Year
Hollanders are excited about the return of Magic at the Mill!
Magic at the Mill is the lakeshore’s newest Christmas Light Show, debuting in 2022.
This ticketed event features a 50 ft x 100ft ‘tulip field’ of 1,000 LED blossoms displaying a synchronized light and music show at Windmill Island Garden in Holland, MI. (1 Lincoln Ave, Holland, MI 49423)

The centerpiece of Magic at the Mill is a ‘tulip field’ of 1,000 LED blossoms displaying a synchronized light and music show.
“Imagine if Holland’s Tulip Festival and Grand Haven’s musical fountain had a baby,” says Matt Helmus, Windmill Island Gardens Development Manager.
Beyond that, windmill and park grounds are beautifully lit up.
Windmill Island Attractions are Open
Attractions such as the carousel, street organ, and shops are open during Magic at the Mill, too.
Sinterklaas
There is also be an opportunity for kids to greet Sinterklaas (the Dutch predecessor of Santa Claus) along with snacks and beverages.
Sinterklaas will be on-site December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16 for meet and greet and photo opportunities for children from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.

The ticketed event will take place on select December 2023 Friday and Saturday evenings:

Choose from 5-6PM, 6-7PM, 7-8PM, or 9-10PM.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 3-15 plus a processing fee.
Children 2 and under get in free!
Tickets must be pre-purchased.
*Your entire party must be present at the time of entry. Tickets for everyone in your party MUST be purchased in advance. Tickets for extra guests will not be sold at the door. Refunds will NOT be given if your ticket(s) can no longer be used.
**Magic at the Mill is a rain-or-shine event and will only be canceled in the case of severe weather. Notice of event cancellation will be sent out via email.
