GR, EGR & Comstock Park Christmas Lights Route
If you want to see the best Christmas lights in Grand Rapids, EGR & Comstock Park this 80-minute driving route is for you!
Start off with a sweet treat from Kilwins in East Grand Rapids – perhaps their peppermint ice cream waffle cone will be just the festive thing to kickstart your light tour.
From there, you’ll circle through East Grand Rapids to see some jaw-dropping displays and a light show. There’s an extra bonus stop at Sticky Fingers, but get there early as they close at 6.
Take the highway north to Comstock Park. We’ve included a bonus stop at ENLIGHTEN, this year’s light show at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. (Check their website for open hours and to purchase tickets.)
As you leave Comstock Park and head towards downtown Grand Rapids, consider stopping at LMCU Ballpark.
This route includes a few bonus stops along the way that need to be timed just right:
🟢 the fabulous Sticky Fingers Candy Shop in Eastown closes at 6 PM most days
🟢 ENLIGHTEN at Meijer Gardens is only open select evenings and is a ticketed event
🟢 the ice skating rink at Rosa Parks Circle accepts advance reservations
This Christmas lights route includes several musical light shows (don’t miss Dana St NW!) and the granddaddy of them all, the Christmas Lite Show (fee) at LMCU Ballpark.
